First up is a blogger who I've been following almost for as long as she has been blogging. (If you're coming here from her site, first, welcome! And second, I'm sure you agree that she's fabulous!) I have been inspired by Sarah, and went along with her on the 30x30x30 challenge. But she continuously amazes me with how she puts outfits together and shares her talents, love, and closet with the world through her blog, Coming Unstitched. To be honest, when I asked Sarah if she wanted to be involved in Fashion Week, I didn't know if I even wanted to have it if she didn't say yes. Luckily, she replied right away with a yes! (I think I might have felt the same way Brandon did when he proposed. lol)

For this week, I sent all of my selected Pittsburgh fashion bloggers the same list of questions I typically ask the fashionista's I find out in the city, but this week I'm letting their responses speak for themselves. Here's what Sarah has to say...
EVERYWHERE! I tend to shop the most at Banana Republic, Gap, American Eagle, Forever 21 and now New York & Co. for new work clothes. I live near the Grove City Outlets so I spend far too much money shopping at all of those great stores - at a discount!
What are some of your favorite fashion trends right now?
I'm obsessed with boyfriend jeans. I tend to gravitate towards things that are oversize (even if I shouldn't since I'm petite), and boyfriend jeans are right up my alley. I love the bright colors for spring, I love the different colors of denim, and I love mixed materials in a piece, like leather sleeves on a t-shirt.
Why did you start fashion blogging?
How would you describe your sense of style?
My style changes constantly depending on my mood. So I guess one way to describe it is "chameleon." I range from classic to bohemian to trendy. I like to experiment, but I usually still keep it fairly simple and easy. Feeling good is my number one priority.

What is some advice you would give to someone who is looking to amp up their style?
If you're afraid to step out of your comfort zone, start small. Choose an accessory that you wouldn't normally choose, go with an "out there" shoe, and build from there. It helps you change up your style while still feeling comfortable, and slowly you'll be willing to take more risks with your tops and bottoms.
GQ named Pittsburgh the 3rd worst dressed city in the nation - do you agree/disagree and why?
I disagree. Pittsburgh, like all cities, has their fair share of those who belong on "What Not to Wear", but I've lived in a lot of cities and definitely don't think Pittsburgh should be 3rd on the list. (I'll keep it to myself who should be....) Pittsburgh has some very stylish men and women and walking around the city I'm constantly inspired by other people.
My tee is J.Crew, vest is H&M, pants are New York & Co., shoes are Charlotte Russe, bag is DSW, earrings are from Italy, necklace is from Oia Jules, ring is Forever 21, bracelets are c/o Dreaming Leo Designs, watch is Target.
Why did you start fashion blogging?
I was on the hunt for a new job and needed a creative outlet to keep me inspired and keep me going. I had a friend tell me that people would love to read what I had to say, and even though I didn't believe her, I started it anyway. The way it's grown and the opportunities that have come up because of it (including a new job!) have been overwhelming to say the least.
Anything else you'd like to add...
I really love connecting with and meeting new readers. To hear that I've inspired someone in some way is the most amazing feeling. I've loved that I can help people find a style that works for them. Everyone can have style, they just have to look inside and find what will work best for them and their body. And P.S. ... Pittsburgh is a GORGEOUS city.
I couldn't agree more! Be sure to enter yourself in this week's giveaway, sponsored by ModCloth and Heinz History Center and stop back every day this week to see the rest of the Fashion Week bloggers! Have a great day!
